Chapter 10: Wine Confession 



“You didn’t ask me about the lesson for many days, did you have anyone to help instead of me? Peter said with his eyebrow raised up and his eyes straight toward mine. “Yes, I do. Stefan is helping me because I don’t want your girlfriend misunderstanding us.” I replied. Peter smiled and replied back, “It’s okay. Zoey is an open-minded girl, so I think she would be understanding it.” “When come to love, everything is not easy to estimate, so if you say “I think” I can know that you are not understanding your girlfriend much, am I right?” I asked Peter. He changed his expression and looked up the sky and said, “Well, you’re right. Woman’s feelings are keep changing which I cannot understand, but for Zoey; she doesn’t care much about my privacy. She just likes spending her time with me when she is stressed from work or when her friends are busy. Moreover, she doesn’t take me to the party with her because she said, I don’t like crowded and that’s the reason I used the word – I think.” Silence came to us and I sipped my wine. He faced me and smiled and I don’t know how many glasses I have been taking but I now feeling very hot and I wanna kiss Peter but I still can control my feeling, so I am not yet drunk. I asked Peter to go home but he said, “Could you stay a little longer?” “I smiled with control my balance that I don’t wanna Peter notify me that I am drunk, “Yes, why not?” 
In the morning, I am so dizzy and my head is spinning. “Good morning sis! Was that guy ur bf?” Cath jumped to my bed and asked me with a silly look. “Who?” “The guy carried you here last night,” She exclaimed. “Peter carried me to my RooM?” I asked with a surprised toned. “Yes, sis!” Cath replied with no joke expression on her face. “Oh, My Mother! What a silly girl am I? How could I get drunk?” I whispered to myself. “Hey, can you tell me now? Is his name Peter? Is he gonna be my bro in law? How about Stefan? Your Peter looks so handsome and he keeps smiling when he looks at ur face last night. I saw he kissed you and said goodbye as well.” Cath talked without breathing, but her words made me flutter and it seemed like my cheek is heating by the hot fire. “Go away Cath! He is my friend and his name is Peter but he will not be ur bro in law because he has gf, okay? Go to ur room and Pack ur stuff because we will go to province now and I need to do my morning business NOW, understand? No more question about it and do not dare to tell anyone about it, if I heard from someone you won’t get any cents from me, okay?” I talked to her with a naughty toned but I know she won’t talk out. She leaned out of my room then I started doing my business. While I am showering, my mind went back to my dinner last night, suddenly, I remembered mm be..er..r… I CONFESSED TO PETER! I screamed out from the bathroom and Cath came to knocked the door then I shouted “I am ok, Cath.” My knees are kneeling in the bathroom like I have no bone and my face is getting pale because I have never imagined of this thing happened. “You should stop drinking because you drank many glasses you can get drunk. Ok?” “Who cares? You! No,no no no  you have gf then why did you,,, why did you smile to me and help me with many things? Why did you hold my hand on that day? Why did you introduce your gf to me so suddenly after our holding hand? Why did you invite me to dinner? I don’t understand. Stop acting this way, okay. You make me confused and I am hurt in here – I pointed to my left chest.” I was crying while talking to Peter and these questions just shut up because of his lip - he kissed me and whispered, “I am sorry! Sorry May!” I don’t know what happened to me after drinking wine but I just know that I was so brave so I kissed him back and then I took breath and said, “I like you. I like you since the first time I saw you.” He didn’t respond mine then I fell out. I finished my showered then I changed my clothes and Cath sneaked in. “Are you okay? if not you can stay home, I will call mom.” “It’s okay.” I smiled and looked at Cath’s face. Her face is so worry about me that make me happy and warm. I reached my phone and see the missed call and messages from Stefan and Peter so I opened Peter’s first. “Hi May! Are you okay? Feeling dizzy or headache? Do you need any medicine? I am so worried about you, please reply back when you see my messages.” I didn’t reply Peter and I opened Stefan’s, “Hi! Happy or Sad? I guessed you are happy, right? Confessed? Anyway, I don’t go to school this weekend, so I will take you and ur sis to province, pls message me when u finished, ok?” I read Stefan and his message made me smile because he always knows things about me better than mine.
