14: Reveal the True


After having dinner with Stef and Cath, I texted to Lily and told her about everything then she allowed me to have a day off so I can rest more as the next day will be Saturday and she is sorry for what had happened to me. I kept my phone on the desk and Cath was knocking my door. “Come in!” “I will sleep with you tonight,” Cath exclaimed with her hands are holding the Elephant pillow. “Okay, thanks!” I smiled at her and now we are lying on the bed. “How is your feeling?” Cath asked. “I am okay now. I have never expected about something like this would happen to me before.” “So sorry, May! I am sorry! I will come home early every day from tomorrow onward, I promise,” Cath is looking at me and her hand is on my tummy. “Oh, I almost forgot, where did you see Peter?” “He was in front of our house, but he seemed scare of knocking the door, so I invited him in. Is he the one you crush on?” “Yes, he is, but he has girlfriend already and he loves her so much. Moreover, he is rich, so I don’t expect he would see me as you know our family situation already. I was so shocked when I know he is a nephew of the richest person in our country and he is so closed to Ms. Cara – a single richest mom.” “It doesn’t matter about the class, sis but your matter is about Peter. I think Peter loves you, I see his eyes when he saw you with Stef – the eyes of jealousy.” “You think like that?” “Yes, if not then at least he stayed and talked to you about the problem.” “I don’t know. Let sleep, I am tired.” We are hugging each other then sleep. “8:30 am!” I shouted and Cath is waking up. “What! 8:30am? Oh, God! I have class at 8am, what should I do? Shit!” Cath exclaimed and ran to her room. My phone is ringing and I don’t know whose number, so I pick up and answer, “Hi!” “Hi! Are you May?” the caller. “Yes, I am May, may I know who is speaking?” “Hi May! I am Jim, calling from police station.” “Hi Jim! What can I help you?” “May you come to the police station at 10:00 am this morning? The criminal said, “I would like to answer all the question in front of May.” So, could you come? “Of course! I would like to hear from him too. I’ll be there on time.” I hanged up and headed to the bathroom. About 30 mns later, I drink milk and had some bread then I open my door about to call the taxi but Stef is in front of my house. “Good morning Stef!” “Morning May! Where do you go?” “I’m going to the police station.” “I’ll go with you. Here helmet and come on we have to hurry,” Stef takes my hand to hold his waist and I did as I am scared of falling from his speed.   

“Would you like some drink?” Stef asked. “Just a cold water, please.” I responded. “Okay, wait a moment.” Stef raised his hand and the waiter is coming. When he finished ordering the lunch, he turned to me and hold my hand. “Are you okay?” “Yes, I am okay, thanks a lot for accompany me since yesterday and today! You are really my best friend to me, Stef.” “Can be more than best friend?” “Emm…” “It’s okay. I am just kidding.” Stef moved his hand from me. I know he said the true but until now my feeling for him doesn’t change even though, he was the one who saved me and comfort me always. I feel like because of jealousy and love that made Rian becomes a criminal. I have never expected that just a bottle of water made a person to follow and fall in love until the love becomes possessive. Rian said, “I love May since the day she gave me water at the park. I always sit on the same bench and waiting for her to come to the park at the same hour and minute. Sha came another day but she didn’t recognize me, so I followed her home and try to find her workplace. I interned at her workplace and always stay behind her until found out that May has a crush on Peter. I start having jealous and disappointed in May, especially, when I saw her kissing with Peter. I am so angry and I talk to myself if I had a chance, I will punish May by giving her my love.” I admire Rian that he tries his best to come closer to his crush but for me, I don’t dare. I can understand the feeling of Rian and I can feel it but he chose the wrong way toward his lover, so I think it is very wrong. While I am talking to Stef, Zoey is coming to me with her friends. “Hi May! Do you remember me?” “Hi Zoey! Of course, I remember you.” “You’re here for lunch?” I asked as a formal. “Yes, I come here for lunch with my friend. And who?” Zoey is facing to Stef and moving her hand to point at Stef. “Oh, he is Stefan. He is my friend.” “Nice to meet you, Stef and you should take care your woman. Be strict on her as your woman likes flirting with my man.” Zoey raises her hand to shake with Stef but Stef doesn’t care and stare back at her when he heard the word “Flirting my man” I am shocking now. “Wha…What? Flirting your MAN? Peter?” She turned to me and shouted, “Yes, PETER! That is my MAN, Please note in your brain that you are not his type and your poor face looks like a beggar, DO NOT DARE compare to mine!”  I stand still and they are gone. I’m too embarrassed which I don’t know what should I act as it happened suddenly, Stef paid the bill and took me outside of the restaurant. Arriving at the park, I am crying and Stef just gone somewhere. I’ve spent 3 hours at the police station to face a person that I don’t want to see anymore and few minutes ago, I was in the worst situation I have never met in my timeline. Oh, God! What the heck is happening to me? Why did she say those things to me? What made she say those? “Here is water! Have some then it might help you.” Stef handed me water.
