15: Goodbye My Crush 


Have you ever fell in love with someone who is very far different from you? I always tell myself that ‘I will love someone without thinking about anything because love doesn’t need the reason nor condition to me. Now, because of our classes and his lover make me give up.” Actually, I am not that ugly as you think neither am poor but I don’t want to be the third wheel of any lovers. Moreover, I can understand the feeling or someone betrays, so I understand Zoey’s feelings. 
It’s 3:13am and I could not sleep; my eyes are staring at the long hand of the clock and my hands are on my chest, mind is thinking about what had happened hours ago. I took my phone and checked Peter’s profile but I cannot find his name, so I can understand that he has already blocked me. The tear is falling like the waterfall and the feeling of loneliness with shameless appearing. I cry until morning and then I texted Lily to take annual leave a week due to my mental problem then Lily texted for approval with an understanding word that “take rest and enjoy the break come back to be a lovely girl again.” Today is Saturday and I’ve got the message from Cara which she would like to have a short talk with me at Brown Café. I was about to go to the market to book the train to Siem Reap province but I have changed plan this morning because of Cara. 
“Good Morning May!” Cara stands up with smiling from the table and asks me to sit next to Lucas. “Good Morning Ms. Cara and Lucas! How are you?” “I’m Good, thanks to you, May!” “I am fine, May! Thanks” Lucas smiles to me. 
“May I know what can I help you?” I asked Cara. “Hmm, Lucas, could you go to order something for May to eat and drink? Cara asked Lucas. “Yes, I will but May, what do you want? I know something fit to you,” Lucas stands up and looks at me. “Okay. Thank you!” “Actually, I heard about Zoey did something to you yesterday from Peter. No! No! Don’t think that Peter told me but they had a serious fight at my house and I accidentally heard. I’m sincerely sorry for what had happened to you, but I can understand Zoey. Zoey has a heart disease which she needs love from everybody around her. Moreover, they both are very close since young; Zoey’s dad also trusts her in Peter’s hand. I have never expected that Peter falls in love with you because he also shows his love for Zoey and follows her every time.” Cara said. “I’m sorry about this thing as well, I should not close to Peter. It’s my fault. Zoey is right, if the one to blame is me not anyone, you don’t need to sorry me about what had happened.” I replied with a tight face. “Peter loves you, May. I know because his phone has your pictures. If you ask me, why did I know? Then I am telling you now, Zoey saw your picture on his phone and that’s the reason they argued and made Zoey went this far. I also saw your pictures when Zoey threw Peter’s phone away and I picked up. He took your pictures secretly and sometimes I saw him smiling alone on the sofa while checking FB and IG. He never acts like that when he loves Zoey.” Cara keeps telling. “Here is your hot milk and this lovely little cake.” Lucas put the milk in front of me and the waiter kept the little cake for me too then I replied with thanks to them. I sip my hot milk and then Lucas smiles at me so I smile back. “Can you come to my house and help me with the study?” Lucas requested with his hands holding mine. “Emmm!” I was silent and Cara replied, “That’s good! I forgot about Lucas’s problem. To be honest, Lucas requested me to ask you to teach him at home or anywhere else you can, for the time is depending on you because I will follow him this time, so please consider this request! About Peter, you don’t need to worry, he will leave to continue his study in the USA next month. You can start teaching Lucas at my home as the summer also coming soon.” “I’ll give you the answer next week.” “Okay. Thanks, May!” “Thanks, May!” They both replied by smiling at each other. My body is lighting after hearing Peter leaving but don’t dare to ask more.
