Chapter 7: The Nightmare



“Why are you this late?” Mela asked her brother.

“I study.” Moon replied without looking at his sister.

“it’s 10 pm!” Mela raised her voice at him.

“I ate sth with my friend.” Moon replied. 

“Next time come home early because if I go to city then no one help mother, okay?” Mela requested.

“I don’t know about these crazy things.” Moon replied with a stern face. 

“I’ll teach you tomorrow so wake up early.” Mela continued.

“Okay. I go to sleep now.” Moon walk with his bag at the bag of his back home. 


Mela sits while her hand is holding ice coffee and her eyes are straight to the movie but her mind thinking about her little brother. The shop is silent as the actor in the drama are about kissing the actress which makes everyone feels shy and excited.

 

“Goodbye Mela!”

The movie is so good and I like this scene – the actor is amazing. 

People are chatting about the movie while they are walking out the of shop but they don’t forget to say goodbye to Mela. 

“Mela, I will collect the glasses and arrange the chairs.” Sara said.

“Thanks! I will wash the glasses then,” Mela replied.

“Sara, do you think Moon can handle this business?” Mela asked.

“I think if he tries his best then he can, but if he is lazy like this, I don’t think he can handle it as good as you can.” Sara answered.

“I’ll try to persuade him tomorrow morning.” Mela added.

“I’ll help you. You should let me know if you need help, don’t do it alone, understand? You have me, I am your older sister,” Sara continued. 

“Thanks!” Mela replied. 

“Moon, come here? We have something to talk to you.” Sara called Moon from the outside of the shop.

“Wait!” Moon replied.

“We would like to hand this shop to you, so please take a good care of it, okay? About the bank and other dept; It would end at the end of December and now is October, so just do as I used to. You have to continue selling at night time as people like relaxing and watch drama – choose a drama which is good for both male and female so we can have these gender come together.” Mela talked.

“Okay.” Moon replied without looking at Mela.

“I’m sorry to leave you but I promise that I will find a job at the city as soon as possible and support your learning with helping our mother. I will try to rebuild our shop to attract more customers.” Mela added.

“Do not worry Moon, you are big now even your age still young but I know you always see we have worked hard to survive in this world and this situation. You can see that we gave up our adult lives which we have never had a chance to hang out nor joining party.” Sara added. 

“I see and hear. Don’t worry!” Mood replied.

“I hope you can take care of our little naughty and mother.” Mela cried while talking. 

“Emm.” Moon replied. 


1 year has passed

Mela becomes a kindergarten teacher and her older sister is a researcher. 

Moon goes to school but always ended up with fighting. 

Mr. Pentagon keeps playing as the same as when Mela and Sara were home. For little naughty, she can walk now but not so fast. Similai is not healthy as the same but she tries her best to sell food and coffee. Sara and Mela come home twice a month to see their family. 

“Mama, I am home. Where are you?” Mela and Sara shouted from the road in front of the shop.

“I’m in the kitchen,” Similai answer.

“I miss you.” Sara and Mela hugged their mama.

“cha che che!” Little naughty spoke to them.

“Oh, you can say the word now.” Mela picked up Brina and kissed her unitl Brina cried.

“Okay okay, I stop kissing you now.”

“Sara, I have something to talk to you.” Mr. Pentagon asked.

“Okay, please wait.” Sara replied with kiss her little naughty and goes to her father.

“Anything you want me to know?” Sara asked.

“I think Moon takes drug.” Pentagon replied.

“Really? How do you know?” Sara asked.

“I can see his action and his smelt.” Pentagon added.

“You’re sure?” Mela shouted from behind his back.

“Yes, I am sure.” Pentagon replied.

“I’ll ask him when he comes back.” Mela added.
